    Renting the golf cart at the Club Lake Suites for the entire week while on the Gold Key vacation, just because you could and it didn't cost anything more;

    Wondering what was going in at the construction site as you drove in to the Magic Kingdom;

    Taking the train from the parking lot to River Country;

    Buy one coach fare, take the whole family along specials to Florida (to the real MCO, that hanger in the weeds);

    The surprise when, not knowing anything, the Electric Water Pageant floats by your room in the Contemporary wing the first time you stayed on-site, and you're looking out the sliding glass door wondering what the music is;

    Being jealous because your children got to go backstage on a Discover the Magic tour, and you couldn't go because you were over 15; and

    Getting to the customer service desk at 6 am. to pick up you Gold Key package (after staying the night before off-package so you wouldn't waste a day), so that you could take full advantage of all of the breakfasts (which of course was before you got so sick of food that you started skipping meals).

    I stop now not because I run out of memories, but because I can only do so much at one time. (And I love the Google toolbar spell check - works on these messages completely.)

    In those days that was a thrill ride.

    OMG do I. I was working there then and would go see him a couple of times a week after my shift. I'd never seen anything like it. I'll bet that huge amazing machine can be bought at Walmart for $49 now and is the size of a laptop. I even bought his record.

    Hey, does anyone remember records?

    Ours was an RCA the tape half would split in half leaving the tuning part at home, bringing the VHS half (it was silver), and attached via a thick cable to a black camera with a nice large padded strap, that would pull me down (I was lil thing then)

    We have a disc camera somewhere in the basement I think :)

    Remember before the Sienna decided to grind it's tranny on the last road trip to wdw, oh wait that was only for us :p

    I was really wowed by the thing first time I saw it. When I went back a few years later and a few miles smarter, I was surprised at how much of it was just window dressing. It was probably a pretty basic keyboard setup, but Imagineering made it into this big THING! Stil, it was a good show (although I always wondered if he might have been just the slightest bit unstable???).
