Sounds like a new Stacey-ism there....she could have said something like "Look at all these lazy people with their lazy Grooler!"

Check out episode #103 of Those Darn Cats at thosedarncats.net . Some background: in episode #99 Lisa and Jennifer were talking about a documentary film Stacey was involved in called Finding Kraftland. The film, which has played at various film festivals, is about Richard Kraft, a Hollywood agent, who has a home full of Disney and popular culture artifacts. The reason Stacey is in it is because Mr Kraft and and some friends went to WDW and kept watching the Top 7 Must sees over and over....he then hired Stacey to be the presenter/narrator of this documentary about his collection and his family relationships.

The "Cats" did their own reviews of the film on their podcast, and at the end Lisa said she would send Miss Aswad a fan e-mail. Well, the result was Lisa, Jennifer and her son the "Whatchamacallit" talking to Stacey, Richard Kraft and Adam Schell, the films's director, on episode #103. Mostly they talk about the film, but Stacey does say some things about her WDW shows. You gotta hear it....Lisa is just so elated to talk to Stacey.

    Stacey's my girl....and Lisa's too.

    That's old.

Speaking of which, our gal Stacey Aswad is showing signs of aging. Yep ... saw her updated WDW endless commercial and she looks older and has appeared to be 'toned' down a bit ... which is good.

Even though Disney scripts all her supposed ad-libbing, she came off as someone on lots of meds ... now, she's a bit mellower.

I disagree with both points. The newer show is now a year old, and was only filmed a year after the most recent segments in the last Top 7. We occasionally watch it and the Top 7 from our PS3's harddrive (yes, I know...) and I can't tell a difference in her age.

I also think the mellow Stacey is much less enjoyable. On the Top 7, she was so over-the-top that it was clearly just a fun act. Now, she's not over-the-top, but has an odd perk; you can't quite tell if that's her actual personality or if she's doing it for the show. To me, it comes across as disingenuous (if that makes any sense). At least with the previous show, you knew the perk was an act, and she was having fun with it. Now it's a bit awkward.

I agree. From watching it many times, it's my opinion that the current film suffers from bad directing. She had tons of energy out in the field. But then they bring her back into the studio (a mistake), and tone her down (another mistake), as well as dressing her for a corporate address (a third mistake). I think Stacy is just giving the director what he/she asked for each time. And there's nothing really wrong with either style - it's just that they don't go together at all!

I also read that Kryssa was recently in the parks filming material apparently intended for Resort TV. Did you know she is a former WDW CM?

I wouldn't disagree with the directing comment. ... But it's all bad to me. She comes off high and phoney in her old incarnation ... and just plain older and way too serious in the studio stuff.

But it's all for a dumbed down audience anyway ... so who cares?

As to Kryssa, well, I'd be shocked if she were working for Disney again. There were some very good reasons why she was very quickly replaced by the Aswad. And rumors, which I won't put here, that are worse if true.

I should have known better than to have sold that video of me, Kryssa, and Minnie together. That guy told me it was just for his private collection.

Now you've piqued my curiosity. How about some generalities about a hypothetical person who may or may not have been Kryssa?
