Honestly...WDW needs more trees. Especially in the MK.

It's no coincidence that after my study of restrooms, my next photo series will be "Foliage at WDW".

My name is Leo Bloom, I'm the Restroom/Foliage connoisseur, TDO apologist, and D23 member.

They've made big improvements with cleaning up Innoventions plaza but near Guest Relations, the West corridor, etc.. is still a mess.

And UoE is one of the worst offenders. That whole side of the park was designed with some impressive geometric landscaping to counter the more natural feel of FW West. There is clay a few feet down though, and that killed many of the taller hedges and trees after they began to really establish roots.

They need to essentially relandscape that entire half of the park - with a real plan, and clay resistant roots.

Have you seen Innoventions Plaza this side of the decade? Terrible.

Agreed. Meanwhile, FW West is usually pretty spot on. So is WS. I don't understand that...Do they just forget about FW East and pile on the palms and grass over there?

I probably never notice because I don't go through the West Corridor. I get off SSE, head east, and then head into WS, hitting West at night.

No. I only worked in the park for 2 months.:fork:

But there's a really nice postcard or publicity photo that shows most of Future World East from an aerial shot, it normally has a graphic of Mickey in a spaceship superimposed on it. I can't find it :(

Such an easy problem to fix, and they totally ignore it.

But you can even make out the Future World East restroom building without ickeyplantz all around it.
