I'd be more worried if Romney picked someone like Marco Rubio. I don't much like Rubio, but I understand he has a constituency. So does Paul, but he engenders more negatives.

I was a Palin away from voting for McCain last time. For example, yesterday he said the states should stop cutting educsation. Fine and dandy, but if he wants to appear out of touch too, keep saying things like that without a qualifier, because he should know a state's budget only covers a finite number of things, and education is a big chunk. it isn't as if any state WANTS to go there, but the money has to come from somewhere.

Including a Gingrich resurgence, a Bachmann comeback, a brokered convention with Chuck Norris getting the nom, a hostile takeover of the GOP by the delegates' pets, calls for a war with Iran, calls for a war with Switzerland, calls for a war with Mars, calls for a war with Blefuscu ....
