He hates where he lives and wants desperately to move. But his kids and ex-wife live here. It's a real struggle for him because he's stuck in a dead-end job and he's so talented, he deserves better. But he won't leave his children. So I do understand.

But aside from that, if he was single and moved, it wouldn't make his point about what the GOP base in his part of the country is like any less valid.

That could always be an option, since it's close enough for weekend visits and things like that, but far enough that it's not WV. Of course if he wants to see his family more often than that, which is completely understandable, then that would probably be a little more difficult to do.

I would leave this place the second someone gives me a job. I have sent over 200 resumes over the past year. But yes, it has occured to me to leave. I would be leaving my kids here, but sometimes you really do have to take your own sanity into consideration. I would get them when I can. Half the summer and what not. And yes I am pretty miserable here.

Pretty much undone all the progress made by the Big Blue Machine/Natural Ruling Party: check. Wonder why for the last 2 elections they have yet to be re-elected. Think about it our current PM (minority government) has a popularity rating higher than Bill Clinton did. Yet they claim he's the least popular PM ever. Guess it's all about perspective. Remember your POV may be different. Up North what we call conservative aligns mightily close to what you would call democratic.

We have to leave here at 5:45am on the 2 Monday's a month I do drive them to school.
