Lucky you. We have to head up to the MIL's Sun/Mon to collect things she is going to need. And hunt down paper work.

I am thankful that they still keep the forums going. Although, I feel like the plug will be yanked at any given moment and without warning.
Boy, I was worried. We left for the Redwood Coast last Saturday and I could not get on despite many tries. There is no Wifi and very little phone service in the National Parks. So I had to wait until today, where I, with some trepidation, clicked on my link. I was so relieved to see posts. Our trip was very good and I will fill you all in later. Right now we have much business to catch up on. Sadly, I feel the same way; and we will all be lost to cyberspace.

I LOVE you all !!!! I'm sorry I haven't had much time for LP lately. I'm dealing with my Dad who just had surgery (and he lives alone) and another issue with one of my adult son's and a daughter (whom I haven't seen for a very long time). I'll write more about it all if I get the chance. BUT, I haven't forgotten my pals here at LP...... It sucks when life gets in the way, sometimes.
Ditto!!!!! Not only have we had to deal with Rod's mom and placing her in a Memory Care Home (which she hates and is aware enough to blame us). We have two nieces (granddaughters from his dead brother) and their combined 5 children flying in Friday. This could turn out to be nothing more than a pleasant visit to a "I want to see the will, I want a copy of the POA, why do you have control of all the money...………?????…….....!!!!!!!!!!!!" Luckily they will be staying up at her place and have her car; but we will probably be having them for lunch most days. Sorry to hear that life has gotten in your way as well, MP. As we have two birthdays tomorrow I am trying to concentrate on getting things ready to put some shrimp, corn and other goodies on the Barbie. We will likely have 10 or more here.
