Is it wrong that a little piece of me would rather be at home than being at work?

I have almost always preferred home to work. It's all that other stuff I miss.

Thank you to Disney+ for streaming Onward so early on. Amazon Prime also offers it, but you have to pay for it. I am looking forward to watching it this weekend.

YIPPEE!!!!! It will give us something to do tomorrow.
My daughter's family saw it in the theater on March 14 and she texted me to see it quick, before they closed them. Well, I think shutdowns started like just a few days later. I am so happy we did not miss our JC Superstar singalong.
Rod and Me with Ted Neeley (Jesus) We were told no hand shakes or hugs but he could not resist putting his arms around his fans.

Oh yeah! I have one of those brains that never shuts up. Just sitting around watching TV brings out my restless legs as well.[IMG]

Hmm. I don't get restless leg, precisely, but if I'm sitting for too long in a moving automobile (or REALLY too long aboard a moving trolley, train, or aircraft), I start to get a peculiar and unpleasant sensation in my knees. Almost like an itch that would require arthroscopic surgery to scratch.

Today, I finally got something done with my "MacArthur Park" cake decorations: mounted the figures on something food-contact-safe (vintage candleholders -- I seem to have an overabundance of pink), and also mounted the cake-safe trees, so that they could be stuck into the cake, instead of just sitting on top. Hardest part was drilling out the leg of the figure in the "yellow cotton dress," so I could secure her to the base (with paper clip wire). I was fortunate that the set of figures included "old men playing checkers"; I still have to fabricate a tiny ironing board and a heart-shaped iron ("pressed in love's hot fevered iron") and a "striped pair of pants."

    Happy birthday to you!

Right now I have to say thank you to my fellow LP family. You guys are a welcome little morning break before I start my work day, and I've been needing the smiles lately. Feeling a bit stressed, but still remembering to be thankful for my health and for my family and friends safety/health as well. Love you all!

Generally, when home, I have Cheerios, Rice Chex, or (occasionally) Kix (in any event, I have my cold cereal with just milk, no sugar), or if it's really cold, and/or I'm congested, I'll have farina (currently Bob's Red Mill farina), with milk, cinnamon, and either brown sugar or maple syrup. And whole wheat toast; if I'm traveling, it will usually be oatmeal with brown sugar, but again, with wheat toast, usually in the hotel breakfast room.

    Gotta get my fiber somehow!

This whole matter of unconventional breakfasts reminds me of an ancient Cosby stand-up bit, "Chocolate Cake for Breakfast" (that's the one in which he described his wife having a conniption).

    What's in a cake?
    Milk
    Wheat
    Eggs
    See, breakfast food.

(My husband and I are pretty unconventional in general.)
