The Meet The World space IS pretty big...they could probably do either here. But either concept is wonderful....and I can't even imagine how cool the first "Disney Flying Coaster" would be.... If they go ahead with Monster's Inc, regardless, expect either of these concepts.... OLC is not shy to spend the bucks!

As far as fitting it into Tomorrowland, there's a whole storyline about the 'future efficiency' of the Monster's Inc factory. It would fit quite nicely with the 'work of tomorrow' old-school Tomorrowland idea, and would be incredibly kitchy and perfect fit for the Japanese work-obsessed culture. A true winner if they go with it....

Besides, I don't care WHAT they get as long as it's not the same cheap redo that is happening in DCA. We expect more out of TDR and we better get it ;D.

You're right, it's not 'lacking'...it's just that coasters are very popular and it would make sense to put another one in. I hope it happens, as it would be SOOOOOO cool. But either way, if Monsters is greenlit, either version would be awesome, and neither version I've seen drawn up for Tokyo has a floor-based track. All of them are overhead in one way or the other.

As far as Monsters Inc well, they have Haunted Mantion between Fantasyland and Critter Country. I really don't see a problem with it. It could easily be tied in some how. If not Tomorrowland then where? Monsters Inc under the Sea? Monsters invade Toontown? Fantasyland? I can't see it any other place accually.

I really miss the old 70's feel and rides like Mansantos Ride to interspace, etc. Even though it was never put in Tokyo there is something to be said about originality of TDL Tomorrowland. Fad's change so fast that even Paris is starting to look dated! They all have there place in time. I just wish they all had an original ride in tomorrowland that would never be taken out just for a stroll down Memory Lane Purposes. Ok they have Astro Orbiter just like I remembered it and I love it! It brought me back to some wonderfull memories of my childhood past. I was thinking more of the old people mover or C. of Progress etc.
