I've caught over a couple of hundred embezzlers in my time, and many of them get quite a rush from their crimes. As for the rest of what you wrote, I really don't know what you're talking about. This isn't any liberal/conservative issue. A loudmouth public figure got caught doing something he railed against for years. It happens all the time. And that makes him a hypocrite of the first order.

It is amusing.

Not proud of that now, but it is what it is. I can say with some degree of familiarity that anyone doing 30 oxycontin a day, if indeed Limbaugh was, can fly from L.A. to New York without the benefit of an airplane. From the FDA's website: 1. What kind of medicine is OxyContin? OxyContin contains oxycodone, a very strong narcotic pain reliever similar to morphine. OxyContin is designed so that the oxycodone is slowly released over time, allowing it to be used twice daily. You should never break, chew, or crush the OxyContin tablet since this causes a large amount of oxycodone to be released from the tablet all at once, potentially resulting in a dangerous or fatal drug overdose. MORPHINE, folks. So, similar to crack? Try heroin. http://www.fda.gov/cder/drug/i nfopage/oxycontin/oxycontin-qa.htm And to try and make a distinct between crack and oxycontin is just silly. A narcotic is a narcotic, whether it is legally prescribed or not. That's like trying to differentiate between Ken Lay and John Gotti. They're both thieves who should be locked up.

Remember those days? The left was going crazy about Rush being a drug dealer and addict... much like they are trying to make DeLay, Rove and Libby criminals when there is nothing there. It gets tiring to have the left use their every so lame character attack as the only way to get their " message " out. It's why they lose and it's why Rush is stronger than ever. Here we are with Rush pleading not gulity to anything and his record being cleared... yet you, a legal guy, want to nail Limbaugh and not the irresponisble prosecuter? Finally, calling Rush a hypocite is also not accurate and simple minded. If Rush had railed on and on about the evil of doctor shopping and the irresponsibility of being addicted to painkillerts that would be one thing. He never did this. He might have said doing drugs ( heroin, crack, lsd, pot, etc ) was a way to stop yourself from being all you could be... whcih is totally the truth.

Why am I not surprised. Rush should get credit for going straight to rehab, taking responsibility and never making the same mistake or having a relapse. He preaches self responsibility, not being perfect. He practice what he preaches and could take any liberal on here or elesewhere in the world and stomp you in any debate on any topic. That.... is why the left hate him. What Rush says matters and his opinions and viewpoints have shaped the country.

What is your excuse for ---- the prosecutors, at the time, claimed they had evidence that Limbaugh committed at least 10 felonies! It now appears James Martz, the prosecutor who headed the investigation into Limbaugh's prescription drug use, was bluffing when he said that medical records "indicate evidence that would support in excess of 10 felony counts for violations." Prosecutors said Limbaugh, in any deal, would have to plead guilty to doctor shopping, a third-degree felony punishable by up to five years in prison. [Prosecutors also suggested at the time that Limbaugh may have been involved in illegal money laundering.]

You simply don't have the skills to debate and go to being a joke in about 3 questions.... much like the liberals you now use as your source for out of touch talking points. Again, why do you support a prosecuter who claimed Rush broke many, many laws, only to come up totally empty almost 3 years later?
