I also agree with you as far as Horizons and WOM. I would have liked to see similar ride systems in place. I do like Test Track, though I preferred WOM. I am not a fan of Mission Space, I definitely preferred Horizons.

And a mountain coaster would have been a great "weenie" to get people to the back of the park. I know the American Adventure was supposed to serve this purpose, but I just can't imagine why they thought this would be enough. With all those stores and restaurants back there, it would seem like a no brainer to me. (But I know that this park was supposed to be the anti-Magic Kingdom, so that's probably why they had no thrills.) "I also agree with you as far as Horizons and WOM." The funny thing is, we've seen an example of a ride that used to have small lines suddenly become busy again -- Living with the Land. Adding Soarin to the building had a tremendous impact on that ride's line, and I bet the same would have happened to WoM if Test Track had been added to the pavilion - perhaps in the back, instead of replacing the old attraction. It's a shame that we'll never know...

Jim Hill needs to pay attention to his writing, the Russians are not Soviets.

Space Mt., if it had premiered in FW with its cool white show building and rocket cars, would have rocked. For me anytime someone says, "It has no place...". My reaction is Oh yeah? Watch this. My FW roller coaster will not only fit the theme to the definition, but will be the premier use of the ride system on the planet. I'll build a roller coaster that you can't hate. And I'll put it in/at the Grand Floridian/DtD/ OK, probably not a golf course. OK maybe I found one place I can't make a coaster work...acceptably.

Why should I pay 70. to shop and eat" ?!?!? That's a little harsh but I get the point. I don;t think peppering WS with some more very family themed rides would be bad. I love the boat rides. How about the need for something NEW for the love of "mouse"?!? huh!!!

Many like to have a drink, have a seat by the water (or at the R&C), watch Illuminations, etc. They tend to bypass what attractions are there already. I do the same. I used to do El Rio De Tiempo, but don't care for the Gran Fiesta. I like Impressions de France. I don't really want to see kids running through WS to get to big E-ticket attractions. I don't care as far as Future World, though I miss having more Omnimover rides.

If we must add another European country, I'd prefer Greece over Russia -- lots of good source material there, too.

There are many people who dont even set foot in World Showcase. I guess i see it how i see everest changing AK. AK was seen by many as a passable park. People could skip it, the same way some choose to skip World Showcase. If you add something with the draw of Everest, people wont skip it. Not to mention it'd even things out in Future World and we wouldn't need a FP at 9am to ride Soarin at 7pm.

Not utilizing all of Epcot to its fullest potential is boneheaded. You can't get more people into MK most days, but you can get more people in to Epcot.
