I am not saying I don't want it in WDW, it sounded really good.

Originally Posted By bayrr326 "Plus, 'Dinosaur' is alreay in Animal Kingdom, and has the exact same ride system and track layout." I get so tired of hearing that as an excuse for Indy not coming to WDW(And I am not singling Jim out, just in general). I think it has more to do with cost than anything else. If they opened Indy at WDW is would be a huge hit. Of all the things Disney has brought to WDW from other parks I think it is ridiculous that they still have not built a version of this ride at WDW. Dinosaur cannot hold a candle to Indy, same track layout or not.

They need 2 more major attractions that people will want to do over and over again. Face it MS is a flop. Epcot has 2 attractions that people want to do more than once Soarin and Test Track. Which is why both run out of fastpass by or before noon on most days. 1 or 2 major attractions that have repeatability would help spread the crowds out more and hopefully reduce wait times.

I love wandering through the World Showcase pavillians, and I love riding Soarin', and GASP Mission Space, I like that attraction as well. But I also like the American Adventure. I think the WS pavillions are perfectly fine without major attractions. If they are going to add more back there, I'd love to see some more elaborate live shows.... And then some cool new technology showcasing deal in Wonders of Life.

If these plans were to have come to be, I think World Showcase would have been THE place to be in all of WDW. If only BLUE SKIES could become reality!

The first time I went to WDW I expected to stand there watching my kids go round and round on rides. Boy did my outlook change when I got there. To me, it's not what the ride is that counts, it's what I see while riding. So bring on an Indy ride to Epcot or anywhere at WDW.

Not a mt fuji attraction though. Everest stole that idea. Ratatoullie would take away from the worldly theme, kind of like El Rio De Templo did when it added the ducks. I like water rides, (just not too many). Already a fast paced thrilling car ride at Epcot. maybe a Fire Mountain style ride except Indy Jones, Escape from the Great Pyramid. There we go. You know, mid way transition, blast through the top rock your sox off but still go with the cultural heritage kind of ride. What fuji would have been.

I'm not sure how people miss WS, it has the best nighttime show at WDW. There is quite a bit to do. I would love to see more countries represented, but to keep the spirit of what it is now. World Showcase isn't where I go to rock my sox off. (well, unless there is a great band playing in the AG theater!) More than half the year, World Showcase is also used for big events. It is very well visited.

I know the Shizzle for the S@#T, and I won't hold back. It has to fit. Be unobtrusive and Frickin' rock. It's Disney. They can do it. One thing the new breed of imagineers don't get is decorum. It has to meet the level of class WS defines. I don't believe a Bobsled Russian attraction does it at all. An "American Adventure" style attraction focusing on the greats from that region from Attila to Putin would be worth it. We will even let the Russians control the content to sanitize it to the Disney equivalent of the perfect America. Communism has its strong points, but capitalism rocks.

This is SUCH a LAME argument it just blows my mind. Does that mean SE should have been the ONLY omnimover at Epcot? Should Fantasyland have only one dark ride? Should there be just ONE boat in all of WDW? Lame, lame, LAME argument, parrots what others have simply typed before and completely unimaginative.

And who cares that it's the same ride system as Dinosaur? Silly argument, really, since most guests would never realize it. I remember when WDW opened both Star Tours and Body Wars within a year of each other. Now THOSE are VERY SIMILAR ride systems, in fact IDENTICAL (minus REX in Star Tours). That never stopped them from adding both attractions. And both had enormous lines then. As for new countries in World Showcase...all I can say is, IT'S ABOUT TIME!!! The last country to be added was Norway in 1988. That's 20 years ago!!! I truly hope we see at least one new country added soon! And I really hope we start seeing some new attractions added to World Showcase, too. Yes, I love the ambience of it. But, I also like be entertained, too. I see nothing wrong with a highly immersive coaster being added to WS. I also see nothing wrong with more sedate attractions there as well. I'd prefer to see more highly immersive dark ride attractions within WS depicting various aspects of that particular nation like Maelstrom does or El Rio did. Why not add the Rhine River boat ride to Germany that was originally supposed to be there? A sleigh ride through Russian folklore would be totally aweswome as would the Mt. Fuji coaster in Japan or an updated Matterhorn in a Swiss pavilion. I really don't see how these additions could hurt WS, only enhance it. If they truly fit the theme of the pavilion, why would it be unwelcome? I say, "Bring it on!!!"

So many people I know see as Epcot as a boring education center (i couldn't dissagree more) but that's what they think. You get through all those awesome rides in Future World and I guess you kind of expect the same calibur of attractions in WS. As far as a Russian pavillion - I think we could do better. How about we do some South American country or something! I think we have enough European/Asian countries. I can't wait to see some new stuff come out of WS. It's long overdue.

Same comments = same responses. I visited 'Countdown to Extinction' in 1999, and even standing in the load area, I could tell that not only were vehicles the same as 'Indiana Jones' but so was the layout. And then once we got started, it was blatantly obvious that the track system is identical, and the jeeps practically programmed to do the same thing at the same time. So, please don't tell me I'm parroting someone else's comment. I'm a big boy -- I made my own assessment there at Animal Kingdom. You can still continue to wish that 'Indiana Jones Adventure' be in Walt Disney World somewhere, but I'll bet one of the reasons is that it's so similar to 'Dinosaur.' *squawk*

ITs just kind of there, and everyone figures why go to America when Im there all the time. ALso, when I was there this summer, they told us we couldnt stand under the mini awning during a thunderstorm. They told us to come inside and see the show, or go somewhere else. grr..
