    Far as I know. . bacon is pork. .not red meat.
    Not to say that its healthy in any way. . just a different distinction.

    I still eat my bacon very crispy though. I only have it a couple of times a month so I figure it isn't that big a deal.

    It was at an extremely classy and up scale Jewish wedding of friends of mine (when I say up scale, you have no idea...wouldn't surprise me if the event cost half a mil or something!).

    I remember thinking to myself as I munched on my tasty faux bacon finger food "self, isn't it a little weird that all the appetizers at this Jewish wedding are focused on pork products?", but then I just figured it was sort of "exotic" for them or something. :p

    I don't recall..but everything was pre-spiced and very perfect, so I don't think there was a condiments table (dudes in tuxedoes carrying trays around was more like it).
