Like when she was learning to drive...many years ago and lost control of the car and sped toward a queue of people at a bus stop, who all had to run off. Or how she went to the toilets in McDonald's once when we had taken the kids, and got lost on the way back to the table....next thing we knew she was standing behind the counter ! Oh and how her annual sherry trifle was notorious. She would put the sponge fingers in then attempt to drizzle sherry on, but always end up spilling lots on one trifle finger and the rest didn't get any. It was like Russian roulette . One person would suddenly shout....oh my goodness ! Smiling now

This was at a time when very few from the UK travelled abroad, and of they saw someone else with a GB sticker on their car, there would be great excitement. She travelled all across America, turkey, Greece, Russia,Italy,Spain,Portugal ... whilst I've known her ( 22 years ) Everyone called her granny, she was like everyone's granny ! She would arrive at our house at 7.40am on the dot every morning. So she could see the boys before they went to school. On a weekend I asked if she could come up a bit later so we could lie in bed a while....she did....7.50am....lol..
