It's hard to when dealing with a Barry-Braverman or Michael-Eisner type of mentality or attitude. However, it's an illustration of why the average person, in terms of his or her talent and aptitude, is average to forgettable, or merely drones in the bigger picture.

Well, I guess you too aren't exactly a big, Nobel-Prize type success in the world. In other words, easily distinguishable from all the faceless John Does of the world.

You on the other hand have done nothing but complain about DCA, Eisner, Braverman, etc. I hardly think that's much of an accomplishment.

And because most people are drones, meaning they're followers more than leaders, and therefore even likelier to see their talent and skills wobble or collapse when surrounded by yes-men and brown nosers, the role of the leader and top decisionmaker takes on even greater significance.

I'd be the last to say that most people, including myself, aren't affected by office politics, including knowing who cuts the checks and who does the hiring and firing. That's why if a person who isn't even dependent on the DisCo for his or her paycheck, and who doesn't even have to schmooze with corporate bigwigs there, is nonetheless quite easygoing about DCA's mediocrity, imagine the way he or she would be if under the beck and call of a Braverman, Pressler or Eisner.

And I'll repeat that imagine, therefore, how exceptionally unreliable or inept a person working on DCA would have to be if he or she, even when NOT employed by the DisCo and dependent on its bosses or managers for his job and salary, still didn't consider the park to be that mediocre.
