She was playing to a professional backing track tape. The notes weren't exactly wrong, but they were definitely out of tune with the tape, and got worse as it went.

I must've been confusing it with something else, having watched it at work with various other things - some of them actually work related - going on at the same time. Anyway, clearly not a tape. And the trumpet player was much worse than she was. Nevertheless, she was playing about half a key sharp.
