They're fanning the flames because that's easier to do than come up with, you know, ideas and things. This is bullying behavior, plain and simple. A good chunk of the people who are so enraged and angry can't articulate exactly what it is they are so angry about. They say they're for smaller government, less spending. Yet, they weren't angry and drawing targets on things when George Bush and the Republican run congress were spending like crazy, creating massive things like the Department of Homeland Security and launching costly wars. So, to me, that makes it pretty clear what they're so angry about: They lost. Unable to win with ideas, they resort to threats and intimidation tactics knowing full well that it's going to end in violence. And then they'll talk about how they didn't mean these things "literally" of course, no, no, it was just a metaphor, you see, and the individual who did this terrible, terrible thing doesn't represent us or our ideas. And they'll say it all with a straight face.

They lost TO A BLACK GUY is the thing that's firing up all the flames, and all the crap the claim is "the reason" is nothing but (hardly veiled) cover.

Just this weekend you had black members of congress called the n-word by teabaggers. And of course we've seen the witch doctor images of Obama as well.

I'm stumped at the number of far right conservative activists who are black. The guy who posted Rep. Tom Perriello's address was a black tea bagger. What's up with that?
