The various ghosts throughout vary from realistic (Leota, the murderous bride) to more humorous/cartoony (the original hitchhiking ghosts, the stretching room portraits) to somwhere in between (ballroom dancers vs. the ghost blowing out the candles on the cake). Personally, I think the new ending is an enhancement. But who knows, maybe if the new haunted mansion movie strikes a darker tone then by the time this effect shows up at DL, it could be used for a creepier ending. Either way, it's cool stuff.

I loved Timekeeper but lets face it, people were falling asleep standing up. Tiki is going back to its original form buy UNM was not good to me, my friend loved it tho and he is a DL-er! I like Grand Fiesta Tour...but I love donald!! But i would hardly compare this change in the mansion to an entire attraction change.

Look, DCA may not have fulfilled everyone's dreams, hopes and wishes, but despite all the wailing from some corners of the room I can assure you that no one was truly suffering. My point, as usual, is that sometimes the amount of angst expressed over this stuff is out of line with what has actually happened. It's like reacting to a small kitchen grease fire as if it were a catastrophic plane crash.

Unless you consider a MeetnGreet an attraction worthy of standing in line for equal to the lines at SpaceMnt. So a few of us are unhappy and everybody is treating us like we are just wrong. i appreciate the discussions on both sides and am willing to accept the majority will love these changes. i have actually walked thru the new HMQ but not the new Mickey Greet. i know I will in Mid-May with a 3&4 year old and bet I have a another whole new perspective on Disney fun!

Impressions de France is one of my very favorite Epcot attractions... certainly my World Showcase favorite.
