Of course, but I also encourage them to question and debate rationally if they do not agree with them.

I really don't feel overly comfortable getting into a political discussion here because there are people who might use it to silence my voice on Disney management.

I do want to state that I am no Obama lover at all (but yes, he will have my vote). I used to respect McCain a lot, but don't because I feel he has sold out in so many ways (and yeah, most politicians do and let's face it, two years ago he never would have believed he'd be in this position today).

Out of the four candidates, the only one I truly respect and feel could lead this country and care about all Americans is Joe Biden.

<<Because you are pro-life, and haven't had an abortion doesn't disqualify you from holding public office. It only means you disagree with her on these issues. You really don't mean that her daughter getting pregnant has any bearing on her ability to be second in command.>>

No. I actually think that she is very likely passing off her daughter's first child as her own makes her unfit. Not to mention any number of other reasons, like not having experience beyond Alaska, not even having a passport before 2007, covering up dirty dealing in her state etc ...

<<I think you underestimate her service to the people of Alaska in an Executive position. Did you take a large portion of your post 61 from the talking points of a left wing blog?:)>>

I don't read political blogs of any type or from any side. Really!

<<Frankly I can't believe you don't admire her for being the Governor of Alaska with an 80% approval record. Alaskans are know for their independant, and strog willed nature. She took on the Good Old Boy Republicam establishment, and beat them. She took on the Big oil interest in Alaska. I could go on, and on about her accomplishments, I've got my right wing talking points in front of me also.:)>>

Well, mele has ripped Alaskans. I, personally, love the state and the people were all very friendly when I was there, but I don't trust the intelligence of the average person at all.

Even today, with us bogged down in a war we shouldn't be in, with an economy that has been a total, corrupt disaster ... 3 out of 10 people support George Bush (who should have been impeached years ago and likely more for making the Constitution meaningless).

So, no MPierce, I don't care how many people support her or anyone else (be it Obama, McCain or Jay Rasulo! -- gotta get Disney back in here somehow) -- it doesn't mean these people have a brain or can see the big picture.

<<Only time will tell how this all turns out. The only thing for sure is that we have different opinions on this matter. Imagine that. >>

I still love ya man :)

I have never and will never post there.

The fact LP.com has many 'regulars' who only seem to post on that board should show it doesn't belong.

I know all Disney sites seem to have them. I understand that the goal is so when stream of conscious threads like this one suddenly take political (or religious or anything controversial) turns, people can go there and have at it.

My opinion is that would be better to not have that type of board/forum and allow people to have real world conversations. So long as people don't get nasty or obscene and they don't take over most threads.

But I don't run this, or any other, site, so it's not my decision.

But, yeah, WE is basically populated by a bunch of crazies with a few intelligent posters who think they're going to change opinions, which of course they're not.

Ron Paul is against the idea of a Federal Reserve Bank, as well, and that's just ONE of the reasons we support him over these other criminals who want to hold your country hostage. We don't trust McCain or OBama. They're really cut from the same cloth and merely SEEM to be on opposite sides of the fence.
