Right now, it's supposedly being closed to install a new 60th anniversary exhibit, but what of after the anniversary? Maybe there will be something new there afterward.

That doesn't mean that it was the only site under consideration, or that it is where it will ultimately end up, or even that anything will end up getting built. As with any decision like this, there are always lots of things taken into consideration, but that doesn't mean that anything is set in stone

I know that's not what it really means, that's just how I took it to mean from him.

Anyway, I read that there may be another "news update" from MiceAge on the future of the park some time this week (not Dateline Disneyland), and I'm quite sure it will be more of the same of what we heard so far.

WDW1974 has a very good track record (quite possibly the best, particularly at WDW), but that doesn't mean that he had all of the information or that the information hasn't changed since that time For now, I really think the best approach will be to wait until D23 in August, since I doubt we'll get any substantial official information before that time >>...I read that there may be another "news update" from MiceAge on the future of the park some time this week...<< For what it's worth, those updates typically come on Tuesdays, in the space that was formerly occupied by Al Lutz's column. Occasionally they have popped up on a Wednesday or Thursday, but 99% of them have been on Tuesdays; they're pretty good about keeping a regular schedule over there

Recap: Innoventions: Star Wars on first floor, Marvel on second floor. Probably a basic expansion on the exhibit/meet & greets with the addition of merchandise and food. After the 60th, hard to tell.

Yes, it could kill the project, or it could give it just the boost it needs. As for WDW1974, maybe his track record is good at WDW, but what about the Disneyland Resort? >>[H]e frequently had information about what was being planned that others did not have. When comparing Bob Iger's comments about Star Wars at the parks to WDW1974's, it seems to send out an indication that one person knows what he's talking about and the other does not. I don't know which one, though, since it is hard to tell.
