Given that DCA has nearly a dozen carnival-style "flat rides" already, it seems like they've got almost a full set. Other than a Tilt-a-whirl or one of those high-speed spinners that stick you to the wall, I really can't think of any traditional ones that they're missing at this point (other than Dumbo, ironically)

If it made a difference .. the Bonita Tower waterfalls would have been saved, DCA 2.0 would have started much earlier. Tomorrowland would have been fully renovated by now, Original vs. IP attractions would be more balanced, etc, etc. So, I no reason why Disney doesn't just announce what they are doing with Innoventions ... and be done with it. They aren't demolishing it for something completely brand new, we can tell by now they aren't or there would be heavier work happening now.

I saw that too - http://pbs.twimg.com/media/CDT...pg:large I don't think in Innovention's 17 year history (hard to believe it's out-down America Sings 14 year, and CoP's 6 year histories!) it has seen a reconstruction of any part of the outer building structure, ever. I thought perhaps they removed a portion of wall to clear some of the bigger pieces out of the building. Though ... cross beams are still there .. so it seems to indicate a call to change out part of the circulating wall level for whatever it is they intend to install. Whatever they are doing ... I'm considering this Innovention's 2.0 ... and I just hope down the line a fantastic permanent new attraction takes up this space .. and Da Farce ... and those super heroes out to conquer baddies all the time .... I hope stay clear of it! They both need their own domain, that they can call 'their own'.

I think the classic example of that is Mission Space at Epcot. Although that came after the attraction opened, not before... the constant hammering it took in Social Media kept it from ever becoming as popular as it deserves to be. The sickest I ever got on a Disney attraction was after a ride on the Teacups, but Space has never given me a bit of trouble. Go figure.
