[...] This project is huge, and they want to open it in 2019, so construction will need to begin in earnest well before the 60th is over in 2016." Bear in mind, though, that this was not WDW1974 who said this.

Surely it must have taken them a while before they realized they were in trouble for the summer season, yet they got it back from WDW and into production by then. I don't see the current management being nimble enough to get something that big accomplished on such short notice

I figured this much out - They are not tearing the building down. If that was their intention ... it would have been done by now. They intend on doing something with the building. I'd love it if they used the rotating portion as a 'rotating theatre' format, once again.

But I highly doubt that it's going to be a rotating theater show. I'm not going to say what I hope it is, because it has been brought up time and again, but I doubt that it's a theater show.

There's really no use for it with the Innoventions concept, especially since they haven't done the little intro shows for the various pods in many years. If they're going to use this space to exhibit new gadgets and/or characters, it would be much easier to do that in a building that doesn't spin That said, I personally would like to seek them get it moving again. It's a really unique feature, and one of the few worthwhile elements in the entire building

That's never a good idea or a wise use of money. Just sayin'
