My very first trip to the Disneyland Resort was during the 50th Anniversary celebrations. I had no prior knowledge of Disneyland before that trip. We saw the walls up around the Subs, had no idea what was being built or what the Subs even were. My son wasn't born yet, and my daughter was only 2 1/2. Ten whole years ago that was almost!

Don't forget ... 'ours truly' (Bobby Iger) said he wants Star Wars to have a big presence in the DLR. I doubt he meant 1 ride.

And anyway, I would think that the space in Toontown, for several reasons would not be able to support several rides either, even with the addition of the Big Thunder Ranch thrown in.

Throw in the Autopia/Submarines area and you have a good chunk right there.

I don't think Star Wars will be that big a deal at Disneyland.

As much as I don't care for the Subs or Autopia, I just cannot see them being removed. There is too much nostalgia there, and besides, the areas listed above are in more need of help than either the Subs or Autopia.
