Went for a lovely walk down from Nob Hill to China Town, went through China Town to Union Square and into the Westin st Francis. In there I pickedup the car, a lovely 2 month old Cadillac. I drove it over to pick Sarah and the kids. The doorman and bell boy packed the car and sorted a curbside checkout. We took a drive around north beach, down Lombard Street, past the palace of fine arts and across the golden gate bridge. Turning around, back over the bridge into Golden Gate Park to see the Conservatory of Flowers, the Japanese Tea Garden, the bison herd and the Tulip Gardens. What followed was a trip down H1 and a donut breakfast at Half Moon Bay. Then across to Gilroy for some frosty A&W rootbeer after Mikey projectiled (poor little guy). Next stop, San Juan Batista Mission and State Park - lovely. We then passed Dennis the Menace Playground (it was raining so no playtime today). We then drove down Fisherman's Wharf, Cannery Row, and around Pacific Grove inc. the light house. We then checked in at the MArriott. The doorman took care of the luggage while the valet parked the car. Bonus, we were upgraded to an ocean view with a balcony! After settling in, we took a walk around old town, had a bite to eat and went back to the room for sunset over the pacific. Off to bed soon as we will be driving down to Santa Barbara.
