I think the reasonable person reading these exchanges will view your arguments as sloppy and your tactics as bullying.

Originally Posted By jonvn "Please show me where in the report it says that the Antartica has never gotten hot enough before" Since no one has claimed that, there is little reason for me to find that. It did say this has not happened recently. "I am discussing it honestly" You do realize that no one here believes that at this point, don't you? "I think the reasonable person reading these exchanges will view your arguments as sloppy and your tactics as bullying." I'm quoting the articles and providing links. You simply make assertions with no back up. So, basically, you have nothing, yet again. "but when you make sweeping generalizations, or mischaracterizes what the real data means." I quote the actual information. And everyone seems to mischaracterize the data but you, it seems. It's a shame you can't take an honest approach.

Dishonesty is the hallmark of the neocon mindset, it seems.

Originally Posted By DouglasDubh <You should also realize that if there is anyone left here who thinks you have anything worth saying, they're awfully quiet.> I don't need constant reaffirmation. I'm confident in my beliefs, because they're based on facts and logic. <Now we turn to semantic games.> I didn't realized quoting you is a semantic game. <Dishonesty is the hallmark of the neocon mindset, it seems.> How is quoting you dishonest? I think the dishonest one is the one who says something, and then later claims he didn't.
Originally Posted By jonvn "and there's a Hall of Fame for honest Democrats or liberals or independents somewhere" I don't know. I'm neither a liberal or a democrat. I suspect not. But when you are trying to discuss a subject and an individual does his best to derail the topic, and turn the subject around to posters, when they plainly have lost yet another argument, then that is not being honest. And considering I've seen some flat out lies about me in particular, well, it's just rather telling that if you can not support your viewpoint with reasoned facts of any kind, then your argument does not have a leg to stand on.

It must be annoying to never win an argument here. Like, ever.

If I think you have said something that is incorrect or unsupportable, I'm going to say something about it. Whether you react to that with facts and logic or with sweeping generalizations and invective is up to you.
