This was evident during the illegal presidential elections, the illegal lowering of America's defenses by our government, which allowed the 9/11 attack to occur, on through the illegal war against the weak nation of Iraq. Very rarely do i turn the t.v. on for any reason, anymore. After the accident at the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, i did not turn on the t.v., i went directly to your website, and i was glad i did. I immediately felt in touch with the latest news and information, and something more, something more important than even that... i was in touch with my fellow Disneyland loving friends. They all seemed to be here. The first i heard of the newsconference was from Rebekah's post. There was finally a reason to turn the t.v. on. I plugged it into the wall, turned on ABC and there was Eisner and Rasulo. After the newsconference, like magic, you had the transcript, which i refered to many times during the posts about what was said. Posting here on your site allowed me to let out a lot of my pent up feelings. The posts were almost like being in a chat room, they were coming so fast and furious, but you kept up with them. Thank you again. It helped me tremendously right when i need it most. Your Pal, Ed P.S. Does this mean i have to buy something from your website now?

And indeed, I admit that I hadn't transmitted enough of my "sympathetic vibrations" to the others you mentioned (cast members, guests nearby, guests who were involved in the crash, family members of all of the above, and of course, Mr. Torres). But in spite of that, your efforts -- the duty you and Rebekah felt in your hearts -- and the strength it must have taken you both to meet both of your own demands for excellence -- are that for which I was expressing genuine appreciation, on behalf of myself and all those who I am sure would have done so themselves had they the opportunity. It warranted recognition, and it still does. Thank you both again for all that you did, for all that you do, for all that you are.

Thank you Doobie for providing us with a Disneyland in cyber space. A place where we can feel as though we are there when we cannot be. A place that is full of heart for not only Disney but indeed, humanity. Thank you LP team for bringing us together. My heartfelt condolences go out to all those affected directly and indirectly by the events last friday. Love and Hugs, Davewasbaloo
