So back to the Mine train, I would also just flip out if I received that box in the mail. Snow White is my all time fav princess and I'm hoping for a soft opening for my visit in 5 and a half weeks.

As far as "fanbois" go, I far prefer the ones that are getting some joy out of their obsession than the ones who feel the need to try to destroy that joy. (Not that I'm calling you a "fanboi", I just wanted to make that point).

When an attraction with paper FPs did soft openings, they didn't use the FP machines, since the testing could presumably stop at any point (though rarely did); I would assume that any soft openings with the Mine Train will be similarly FP+ free. If they're expecting the attraction to be up and running, it should be open while your there (unless there's some downtime, as is typical with new stuff)
