I can't tell if the Mine Train will have fake grass like in MK, or if it will use real grass like Splash Mountain. I would have assumed it will also be fake, but I don't see any signs of it yet, and there appears to be a lot of exposed dirt And I'm really confused by the area shown in the boat ride photos, below the ride path but above the rectangular building. The narrow rows look like some sort of queue space, but I think that's a backstage area. The boat ride's loading area is toward the top of those photos, so I'm not sure what it's for

I still wonder how much time they'll have to train the CMs in the spaces they'll be working

One of the Chinese characters is drawn stylistically so that it looks like an upper-case D written in the Disney font. Clever.

Much more so than any other Disney store elsewhere has been.

I can't wait to see the first pictures from inside the show building.

And what’s with the plain fence and warehouse behind Mulan? Hopefully the landscaping will cover that up

I wonder what the view will be like from up there

Originally Posted By dagobert >>>I still think the lobby looks like a cruise ship. It's not bad, but it's hardly grand enough for the lobby of the flagship hotel. It really seems like an odd design choice<<< That's what I like about the lobby of the SDL hotel. Disney's cruise ships look so much more luxurious than their hotels. They also feel much more luxurious. For example, if you take the Grand Floridian, it's WDW's flagship hotel, and it nowhere is on the same scale like the ships. The SDL hotel finds a good way to look modern, but also to have an intimate look. I like it. At first I was disappointed that Disney didn't use the Victorian theming for the hotel, but then I realized that it's good to have something new. WDW, DLP, TDR and HKDL all have the Victorian theming for their flagship hotels.
