I'm whatever-it-is enough to want my tree to be themed. Lately it's been jewel tones, metallics, and glass to "go with" the decor of the living room. Looks nice.

On the other hand, I love "eclectic" -- the mish-mash of hand-me-down treasured ornaments and new ones from travels or friends, the one string of lights that never matched the rest on our tree when I was growing up, the ornament that is getting pretty beat-up but you have to put it up, even if it's in the back.

My husband and I had our first christmas tree together a LOOONG time ago, he'd never had a tree up in his apartment before and we went out and bought little cheapo clay ornaments and plastic doo dads...it wasn't "perfect" but we loved it...to this day some of my most cherished ornaments are the ones from that christmas. I treat them with the same care as my lenox ornaments if not more....like I said, everyone's tree is beautiful!!! I think everyone did such a nice job sharing this year and I'm sure TDLFAN is smiling as he reads all our posts and admires our trees! BIG FAT DISNEY HUGS TO ALL AND TO ALL A GOODNITE....

Come back in a year or two Labuda and I may just be giving your childhood tree a run for it's money lol!

Glad you also included a picture of the doggy. Now I can see why you put your tree up high!
