Even if this is so, the issue is "us". A great MANY of "us". The good thing to know is that places like the TDR and new additions like WWoHP keep this spirt of immersion and "placemaking" more than alive.

I do have a problem when price points are going up once or twice a year, while the overall entertainment factor is being diminished. I do have a problem with Dining being reduced to a very expensive get them in, get them out experience, with the ever shrinking menus, lower quality of food, and the fact you need to make reservations months in advance. All in the hopes of convincing Guest that the Disney Dining Plan is a wonderful experience, and a must have. I am all for putting the Disney brand out there, but I do have a problem when brand takes precedence over show, and that seems to be the case now to me.<<<< So WELL SAID, Pierce. I agree in full.. To add... I don't mind synergy, and I don't mind them using their brand power. It works. But I do mind them using that as a crutch when it comes to creating new experiences that could be equally as good as the synergized ones. They need a happy balance.

They keep ignoring the true interactivity of places like World Showcase, Adventurers Club, and now Wizarding World of Harry Potter. This is what people want. Not RFID and APPs. It's not enough to build an attraction, they want complete immersiveness. Hogsmeade is an extension of Forbidden Journey. It sets you up and gets you in the mood for the main attraction. Disney used to excel at this. Expedition Everest does this, but the attraction itself fails.
