Like someone else said, if they haven't yet been banned from Disney forever, they definitely should be.

Well they should be banned from every staying at a Disney resort (that does need ID), and if they are ever spotted in a Disney park (by facial recognition), they would be quietly removed. Obviously over time and millions of guests, that doesn't seem possible, but if they behave the same way next time, they'll be spotted quickly.

Where's spirit when you need him??

My guess would be that Disney has your fingerprints on file, and they just flag them. you have to scan your fingers to get in the park, they need to be filed with your ticket info somewhere to be validated upon each entry, so whats to stop disney from keeping them permanantly and flagging them as banned?

I can see 10 or 20 years down the line Delinquent JR seeing mommy or daddy escorted off property, I feel sorry for the kid(s) already.

It's a little more than that. Typically, they'd be given a trespass notice, which informs them they are no longer permitted on property. If they get caught coming back, then it's not just a matter of being ejected without a refund - they get arrested and go to jail for trespassing. Pretty much any private business can do this with people that they don't want to come back. As several people have already pointed out, there is the obvious problem of how do you detect them if they come back, but if they know that they will be arrested immediately if they do come back and get caught, it's enough of a deterrent for most people.

They've changed the system in the past few months. It does indeed look at your fingerprints, but the system does not keep your entire fingerprint on file - only data points that are matched up with each scan. And you don't need to do the fingerprint thing with a single ticket, so there's no way to keep these malcontents off property if they really want to get in.

They used to do that when you had to insert your index and middle finger into the finger thingie. That is no longer the process. You press your fingertip against a reading area and it looks at your fingerprint. In theory the system doesn't store your actual fingerprint, just a mathematical representation of it (kind of like it did with your finger bones), so personal privacy issues aren't as troublesome.

But checking against the mathematical representation would be good enough to use when banning someone.

I don't know what all the fuss is about.

When you cater to a certain demogrpahic, you really shouldn't be all that surprised when they act according to form.

Unfortunately that seems to becoming more prevalent as a whole, not only at Disney, but a lot of other businesses also. It's the pursuit of the All-Mighty
Dollar, reguardless of how it effects your other customers. I am a firm believer in capitalism, just not to the point where it overshadows quality in product, and customer satisfaction.
I read an article in one of the N.Y. papers that said they had been banned from Disney Parks as well as Euro-Disney. I'm assuming they mean the 8 parks in the States, and the 2 in paris. How they would enforce that ban is beyond me. Maybe they have a spy satellite tracking them right now. :)

ORWEN: We don't remember what it was he did to get himself banned from Disneyland, but it certainly wasn't anything nearly so bad as what the meanies for THIS topic thread did.

ORDDU: The young man in California often tried to enter the park by wearing various disguises and sometimes he did manage to fool the Security guards. But, eventually, each of his disguises became well known to the point where he ran out of disguises altogether. It was a terrible fate for such an avid Disneyland fan.

ORWEN: I wonder whatever happened to that young man?

ORGOCH: He grew up an' became an OLD man--just like ya'd expect him ta do--ya dumb Ditz!

Whether they hit an officer or not, acting like that in any public, family destination is disgusted. It's too bad that someone taught them that is how to behave.
