You know dave I was very explicit 2 or more times that I wish non US citizens and *NON PERMANENT RESIDENTS* should be barred from real property ownership in the US.

You must have missed my stance on those living vs not living in the US. I don't want US dwellers sending rent checks to Mongolians, Kenyans, Spanish or Aussies. We have enough problems in the US without foreign nationals laying claim to our most prized and tangible asset, land and space(condos).

Oh I believe you since you willfully moved/voluntarily migrated to the world's most expansionist and intrusive nation since the 1600's........yes, even more than France, US, Japan, Netherlands and Spain.

I guess Switzerland was off the table for consideration LOL!

OK, I'm not totally there ***yet*** but I'm making plans to fully move and I already have property there where I 'live' 2 months out of the year. I don't support non citizen voting. How would you police the elction. There are so many Illegals it would be impossible to ensure 1 vote for 1 person when there are millions. It would be unbelievably expensive to issue voter cards based on proof of residence and not on social security number and to then keep track. I just don't see this option.

Indeed Barboy, Mr X, World Disney and I all share a lot in common. I am sure once you move, your perceptions are likely to change too.

Not Jack Daniels! It doesn't get any more American than that.

Well, I sort of already have moved there since I have 3 pieces of real property, family(in-laws) and I've been staying 2 months out of the year. If I have my way it will soon be the reverse......... 10 months in the jungled, polluted, 3rd world, terrorist/sex worker/kidnap/earthquake/typhoon/malaria ridden PI, I mean paradise and two months in boring USA :)

So is DVC a good value or not? I seem to recall the reasoning offered here in LP that even with the annual fees its a bargain.

Don't feel bad. They treat everyone like cr*p, including Americans. There even used to be a soft drink commercial (Sierra Mist) that depicted ham fisted TSA employees harassing a passenger in order to steal his Sierra Mist:

So where do I start ... I guess I am on Dave's side ... I hate the way people are treated by Homeland (sounds like Nazi Germany folks) Security ... and I know few people here who represent the best in America like that big UKer. Anyone who would harrass his family should be forced to ride Imagination 3.0 for 48 hours straight!

Now ... here's an interesting post by my pal Nikki:

<<My mom gets harassed by security every time she flies, and she's an 80 year old grandmother. She regularly gets pulled to the side and searched.>>

Well, see that's the problem and it's directly related to the boob who is leaving office soon and stole our Constitutional rights and the boobs in Congress who went right along with him in an effort to get the 'evildoers' (God, I love that term!)

And don't yell at me Pierce, I'm only taking posts that are here and running with them. ;-)

Anyway ... while I have my issues with Nikki (and really, who wouldn't? ... that's a joke, although she won't take it that way!) I would go out on any limb here and say that her Mom (even if she is dating a 28-year-old Muslim named Assad)is no terrorist. The woman shouldn't be harrassed everytime she's at an airport flying to WDW (or elsewhere).

But this crap happens all the time and it really is un-American. People are afraid to fly. People don't want to take shoes off ... or have themselves or their children, parents, significant others felt up in order to get on a plane ... and TSA damn well knows this. It's all about having a society live in a pervasive atmosphere of fear. And I have to say that from Guersney (shout out to Malin and hope I spelled that right ... if not, blame the wine to Milan, from Beijing to the Bahamas, from Paris to Amsterdam, from ... I never feel that ... and most times when I return to the states the TSA/Homeland Security folks are so damn unfriendly. That makes me sick!

I will give props to the folks at O'hare who were great to me upon my return from China, though!

See, I ended on a happy note .. however my next post won't be so happy ... as I try to get back on track.
