I'm pretty sure of it. the Witches must have had some "interference" in their conjuring! Regarding the diorama scene of Aurora dancing with the animals, the space is not as deep as the space up in the Walkthru where it had been, so it doesn't exactly recreate the scene as it had been. But, many of the elements of the scene are in the new display. The lady working in the shop said that it had just recently been installed and had not been there that long. That was one of my favorite scenes from the previous version of the Walkthru, so I am happy to see it on display again, even if it's not exactly the same as it had been.

ORDDU: We once spoke with a cast member about the fact that this same mural appeared to have streaks running down portions of it. He said that the castle was leaking and that it wad due to be re-roofed. This was in the early to mid 80's. The mural disappeared for a long while. We didn't see it again until 2009 when we returned for a visit and saw that it had been installed in a whole new section of the castle. It's the only Evynd Earl Mural we know about that was on display. If there is another one we never saw it. But this one is beautiful and depicts the medieval countryside where Princess Aurora romped with her prince and the 3 good fairies.

That mural had a completely different look to it. I sure do wish that I had taken a picture of it!

Even if it is a reproduction, it's the very same likeness we used to see across the way in the other shop from many years ago. If you saw a totally different mural, you'll have to describe it to us because the one we're talking about, now, is the only one we've ever seen inside the castle.
Originally Posted By DBitz2 What's in there now is most likely a reproduction of the mural you are referring to, not the original. It is mounted to the wall like wallpaper and even has a texture of wallpaper. And, it is unprotected. I don't think that they would place a beautiful original mural where it is in reach of guests, who could cause it harm, and not have some protective covering on it. At least, I hope not. I think that it is a reproduction that can easily be replaced if it gets damaged or dirtied.

That's why the cast member once told us how vulernable it was to rain water that came down from the leaking rooves. We also thought it was odd that this work of art wasn't protected any more than it was. At one point--while it was still attached to the wall across the way--it was even covered up by shelving instead of being protected the way it deserved to be. But we still believe it's the very same mural because we studied it closely and it is obviously aged and faded from many years of being around. With today's modern methods of de-gluing, it would not be hard to believe that this wall paper mural was carefully removed from one wall and re-glued to another one. Perhaps a cast member who has worked there for a long while might be able to answer this for certain. ORWEN: Now tell us about the mural you were looking for. What did it look like?
