Canada, like the Timekeeper, forces everyone to stand in one spot for over 30 seconds and that just doesn't work for some people. If they are sitting they can mildly tolerate it, if they are standing that must mean they are going someplace so they shouldn't be standing still. We already lost a good attraction because of it (Timekeeper) and it is only a matter of time before another is gone, ah?

And Spirit of 74, that EPCOT Center suite of songs -- amazing. And great theater too. Like an overture for a musical -- which introduces the show's songs to the audience so that when they hear them in the show they seem familiar -- the EPCOT Center suite did the same thing. It's that kind of foresight and attention to detail that made Disney theme park so special.

How about a nice catchy song about life in the sea with some cute gags on the screens (some of you must remember Wakko's America and Wakko's World songs from the Animaniacs). Something kids would memorize because it's catchy, go to school and shock their teachers because they know that a Sphyma zygaena is a Hammerhead Shark. But, no we must protect the story and find Nemo for the how many-ith time.

I read a recap of the Submarine Voyage history, and at one point Disney had contemplated an 'Atlantis' theme for the ride. But since the animated feature didn't do well at the box office, they passed. It's a peculiar notion that you have to wait for blockbuster movie in order to greenlight a theme park attraction. Ya gotta wonder if 'Mr. Toad's Wild Ride' would have ever been built -- because, you know, 'Wind in the Willows' was not a big box office hit. Neither was 'Alice in Wonderland.' Neither was 'Song of the South.' And forget original concepts like 'Haunted Mansion' or 'Pirates of the Caribbean' or 'Space Mountain' or 'Matterhorn' [I know, loosely based on that one obscure Hayley Mills movie]. It's a puzzling trend....

I'm not also sure of the length but will check.
