I like the new stuff but I also like the older, slower moving stuff. It's not just the attention span that is the problem either. Canada, like the Timekeeper, forces everyone to stand in one spot for over 30 seconds and that just doesn't work for some people. If they are sitting they can mildly tolerate it, if they are standing that must mean they are going someplace so they shouldn't be standing still. We already lost a good attraction because of it (Timekeeper) and it is only a matter of time before another is gone, ah?

And Spirit of 74, that EPCOT Center suite of songs -- amazing. And great theater too. Like an overture for a musical -- which introduces the show's songs to the audience so that when they hear them in the show they seem familiar -- the EPCOT Center suite did the same thing. It's that kind of foresight and attention to detail that made Disney theme park so special.

Ya gotta wonder if 'Mr. Toad's Wild Ride' would have ever been built -- because, you know, 'Wind in the Willows' was not a big box office hit. Neither was 'Alice in Wonderland.' Neither was 'Song of the South.' And forget original concepts like 'Haunted Mansion' or 'Pirates of the Caribbean' or 'Space Mountain' or 'Matterhorn' [I know, loosely based on that one obscure Hayley Mills movie]. It's a puzzling trend....

Primarily Walt's vacation to europe where he came up with the idea of how fun it would be to have a bobsled ride down a snowy mountain at disneyland.
