I'm still excited, even thought it is still a little ways away.

But I've been ripped so many times for being right ... like when I broke the news that DCL was adding two ships ... or when I said changes were coming to WDI ... or that Tony Baxter wasn't going anywhere ... or that BK for DAK was dead ... or that Mission Space was going to be the big E-Ticket at WDW (I know this one goes back before my LP.com days but I was online in other realms) when all the fanboys were drooling over themselves over something called Fire Mountain at the MK ... etc ... etc ... Am I wrong somtimes? Sure. But 99.9% of the time, it isn't me or my sources, but things changing after the fact. I work in a business where facts and getting things straight mean everything ... and even though this is a fun place, I still take my role her very seriously. I'm very careful with newsworthy items ... except for say the huge jump in food prices at WDW ... $24 for a veggie entree at Jiko?! Can you say absurd?

That's a LOT of space! I wouldn't mind Disney doing a water themed area. Yeah, it would compete directly with Sea World, but it would still be fun, and open up a lot of attraction possibilites...although hopefully none with Nemo, since that's, well, already done.

I'm glad it's going down, but I'll echo a semi-common sentiment and say that I want the hat to go down at Disney-MGM as well. It takes away a lot of the effect that you got from looking down the boulevard in earlier years. It would be great to get that image back, if only to still have some connection to the original theme of the park. Sincerely, John Kilduff
