I know when I get an extra $20 I get pretty cocky.>> I dunno. I've never been Oprah wealthy. But I have had periods of very good fortune and very bad. When things go well, I never forget my roots. When I'm eating at a five-star restuarant in Paris or Milan or Beijing, I don't forget when it was a thrill to be able to dine at Cindy's castle (before it was ruined) or when I had to use change to buy a meal at McDonald's. I think Oprah has very much lost that sense of what being 'regular' is ...again, I don't think it makes her a bad person at all. She's just not at all in touch with the average person's reality. >> As to the View ... that show is a hoot ... I love watching them go at it like a bunch of hens clucking away ... and those days when Rosie was on and Elizabeth and her went after it politically ... that was great stuff! << <<What's funny is I have always liked Rosie as a comedian. Especially her, and Richard Dreyfuss in Another Stakeout, which really wasn't that good of a movie. It's when these Hollywood types go all political. That turns me off. I'm very surprised by how little they actually know.>> It doesn't bother me at all. No matter who it is. Just because someone is an actor/actress doesn't mean they can't express their views. Some are clueless ... but look at the reality: most of our politicians (on BOTH sides) are either clueless, corrupt or evil.

The sandwich was very good ...sliced thin steak ... on a toasted roll ... light olive oil mayo ... mozzerella melted on top ... tomato, pickle, onion and great cherry peppers and some ground pepper on top. Better than at a sub shop. (Personal note on Spirit: he can't cook for %$#&, but he can make great sandwiches, salads and decent pasta meals.)

At least that's the impression she gives. (Very convincingly I might add). Bersides she drives all the geopolitical elitist out there nuts. Also Sarah is not in a position of high office like say.....President of the United States of America. Mr President there are 50 States in our Union, not 57. Mr President a medic in the Navy is a Corpsman. Thats pronunced CORE, not CORPSE. Who was that news anchor that named a list of graduates out for a University she was giving a commencement address to. It turns out it was a different U. with the same name in another State. Embarrassing yes, earth shattering no. Besides Sarah was kind of close Eureka is in California. Trouble is it's a city, not a college like the one in Illinois. Hey, when you think of Ronald Wilson Reagan, you think of California. not Illinois. Put down that fishing net, and do your homework Sarah. Read Wikipedia before you give those addresses. Anyway, I think it's more fun when the Vice President drops the F bomb in an open mic. Much more earthy in my opinion.

Did you prepare the steak or was it prepackaged. I have yet to find any that are good.

I visit a LOT of theme parks and I find Disney's prices in line and, more importantly, I find the quality better at Disney than I do most of the others. To be completely honest, I'm most impressed with the food options at Dollywood but Disney is right up there for quality and variety for me. Back to Sarah Palin or whatever else it is that ya'll are talking about.
