He has the right to his opinion, but his judgement is suspect? That makes no sense. Opinion is opinion. Just cuz mine doesn't agree with yours (or his) doesn't make any one of us "suspect", or in any way less or more valid.

We all have our own little vendetta's ( if we are honest with ourselves ) - mine is the lousy Pooh Playground...does that make my opinion suspect after almost 50 years of attending Disney parks ? Yes, I was in DL in August 1955.....( don't remember anything from then, but I claim to that visit) - So maybe you want to rethink your statement -- if it is just that you disagree with a poster -- by all means state your case...varying opinions are welcomed for sure. You may love the new Pooh Playground for instance...and disagree with me -- but after almost 80 visits in total ( many 7 - 10) days long over the years -- I surely don't think my opinion is 'suspect' either. Most of the posters here disagree on various topics -- I don't think there are two like minds anywhere ( except for our love of all things Disney ) - and we mutually agree to disagree. of course -- just my honest opinion

What a stupid remark! Gimme a break! And to add that my judgement is "suspect" just because I hold WDW's lower standards over DLR and TDR? ..Laughable. Likewise I would say that those who are so-called "Disney Apologists" (read: Pro-Eisner/Pressler and everyone who has left in the past few years) would definitely be "suspects" in judgement.. since some are sent here from Disney to spy on our opinions... But hey Mr. Cassidy..that's your opinion of me, so be it.

The only special light effects at WDW's Snow are strobe lights... they have beenn doing that since the days of Disco. ..and misting? Is that something new?? Based on my observations... the other 3 versions of Snow feature much better lighting and effects over WDW's version. Not to mention a better, more space efficient boarding areas over WDW's. >>Personally I think the Winnie the Poo ride is lightyears ahead in its approach and quality. Maybe this is one reason why Snow White seems soooo dated?<< Me thinks the WDW Pooh is better than the rest of the C-tickets there but when you take that and compare to Hunny Hunt, then you realize how bad this ride really turned out. and trust me..Hunny Hunt does leave WDW/DLR/HKDL's Pooh ride Lightyears behind, which makes the rest of WDW's Fantasyland look really really bad! Just my opinion.

I don't find it's, or WDW's queue 'incredible'. DL's queue is actually much better. The ride, however i find better at WDW. And i'm sure TDL's actual 'ride' section is good too.

But you should know...there are 3 portions to the queue... The outdoor (or stand by line area) is designed to be like a walk thru the 100 acres wood... very woodsy and cute winding trail in that area... Once inside, you go thru what appears to be a Toy workshop.. with Pooh props scattered about, then you pass behind the big book and into the final queue room which is designed as you reading thru pages of the Pooh tale.. >> The ride, however i find better at WDW. And i'm sure TDL's actual 'ride' section is good too.<< You have no idea how good it really is... we are talking E-ticket here. Oh..one more thing... After you desembark from the ride.. you have the option of going into the Pooh Corner store OR walk thru Christopher Robin's bedroom on your way out. Themeing is everything... what have we got at the MK? a plain looking ramp into the shop.

But hey Mr. Cassidy..that's your opinion of me, so be it." Hmmm...a 1970s Hardy Boys reference. I get it ... That means, I'm old too! I don't like to think of expecting WDW to be the best and live up to its past reputation as the best family entertainment destination on earth as a vendetta. That's patently absurd. People like the poster who attacked you, TDLFAN, is one reason why I hestitated to join the LP community instead of being a silent lurker. I go back with WDW to the first days. I have an idea what Disney was always about, and how different things are today due to poor manangement at many levels of the company. People can say WDW is the bestest, most magical, fantasmical place on the planet today and that it has never been better. That's their opinion. Now, I know that opinion is wrong but everyone is entitled to think whatever they want. But when you have facts to back up your opinion ---- like say the MK is the worst maintained park in Florida ---- the 'others' may not be able to take that, so they attack. And WDW definitely has these sites monitored regularly. That's a fact. I have been told as much by people in the exec offices in Orlando. That means forums like this can have impact on what happens at WDW. What all this means is that anyone with the knowledge and history folks like you, TDLFAN, have are going to be treated with disdain by a large part of the online Disney fanboy community. Hell, you remember a WDW before pintrading, timeshares, tacky Motel 6 style 'resorts', character meets and meals, buses clogging roads etc ... they don't. And they likely can't ever imagine how a WDW with only 1 or 2 parks and 3-4 resorts could have been a better place than what exists today. All I can say is, I know what WDW was like in the 'good old days' and what it's like today. It's still an amazing special place. But in many ways, it's just too big and unmanageble for a company that wants a part-time workforce at the lowest wages possible, while cutting back all those special little details that made Disney, Disney. How many people here remember the character waterski shows on the Seven Seas Lagoon? Or the Swan Boats? Or the Fort Wilderness RR? Or Broadway at the Top? Or the Tangaroa Terrace? How about the elegant Empress Room? Or can even remember A-E Tickets? How about the International Food Festival? Or Terriyaki burgers at the MK? How about 2 a.m. summer closings? Does anyone know what the Golf Resort was? Or remember the idyllic LBV Shopping Village before it was 'Disneyfied'? Anyone remember the three places you could canoe at WDW (partly a trick question)? Anyone recall when buses were used as transport ONLY within the campgrounds and to the Village? Does anyone recall when the Candlelight Processional wasn't at Epcot and didn't require dinner packages to get a decent seat? How about when every location had a unique costume and you'd never see one wearing generic mall attire? How about when you could buy a Coke OR a Pepsi at the same location? I could go on all day, but most folks don't have that knowledge including folks who write about Disney, report about and even run Disney fansites online. Experience is very important and not something that should easily be tossed to the trash pile. Keep on telling us what you see at WDW and every Disney outpost on the planet, for those of us who can't travel to them.

Frankly, they should only offer those perks to people staying at the moderate or deluxe hotels on property. Why should people paying for the cheaper rooms have to have these perks? Aren't they underpaying for their on-property Disney experience already? Oh I forgot..we are "Disney guests" too. Just a though... I don't come here expecting to make new friendships everyday.

It's not my first choice, but it's all I can afford this time around. The dividing line for people who get in to the EMH events is on property vs off property. Are you seriously advocating a further classification of this access? That those who can't afford the higher priced hotels don't get to come play? Seems a bit harsh.
