I think it is interesting Disney desperately wants to take on Harry Potter when they already have the
scariest villains: I consider the evil queen and the old witch to be two villains and they are the ORIGINAL Villains. Market that , Disney!!!!

I guess we should be happy it won't be shuttered before the busy weekend.

Apparently D23 will honor Snow White at DL with a DestinationD Event August 11&12.

Why destroy this attraction this year at WDW and honor it at DL?

I realize that the Snow White ride vehicles have a greater capacity than the Peter Pan ships, but Pan is continuously loading while Snow White (like Pooh) is stop-start, so I would guess overall capacity is about the same.

We see a wait time that says 45 minutes and then it turns out to really be 20 or less.

ORWEN: But even if it's true that Snow White IS the least popular attraction in Fantasyland, it's still popular enough to deserve to stay where it is. It always has a line even if it is a short one compared to the lines at other attractions. There are always guests who want to ride it.

True... you can't compare a slow-loading attraction like Jungle Cruise with a huge volume people-eater like Spaceship Earth. But comparing one dark ride to another is a pretty fair comparison.

And I'm not going by posted wait times, but actual experience. I once waited just under two hours for Pooh when the posted wait was 45 minutes. I hate that I waited that long for Pooh, but you get to the point where you have so much time invested already that you are reluctant to just walk away without riding.

Personnel costs are probably the biggest cost of operation, and a meet and greet probably takes at least as many people to keep it running as an old-style dark ride.

Of course I'm just whistling out my butt here because I really don't know what is "behind the scenes" in Snow White.

Pan also has FP which is why the line is immovable.

Actually I wonder if that's true. I'm guessing that because of labor costs and costuming, operating an elaborate Disney Princess meet and greet is probably more expensive than a dark ride that only requires one or two attendants to run.
