Yes, the Lafitte's Landing, bayou scene, the Blue Bayou restaurant. Then, the first waterfall, with the grotto et al. With WDWs, the fortress queue is there, but I always found it to be poorly designed -- almost Six Flags in its execution. Then, you get on the boat, and out you go into the first grotto scene. No bayou, no first waterfall et al. And when you're done -- it's just like 'okay, last scene, get out.' Where at Disneyland, the ride up the waterfall, past the people waiting in line, gives more of a proper 'denoument' to the experience. When I first went on WDWs 'POTC' I felt like I was experiencing a 'Highlights' video.

The move on the board was a double stalemate where the game would last for ever. Marc thought this gag was really funny. When they were cleaning/refurbing the attraction, the chess board got messed up. Apparently it took them a long time to figure out how to rectify the scene.

I just rode the WDW version last week at The Princess and Pirate Party and I couldn't help but compare the two in my mind. The WDW version just doesn't seem grand enough as DL's. And is it me or does the rock work in the first grotto scene in FL.look like crumpled up paper? Also, the ramp at the exit sounded rather loud like it was over heating.
