ORWEN: And the advertising for it in America was atrocious, too! Yet it did very well and is one of the best Disney movies to come out in a long, long time.

However, it has no semblance on the actual story and artistry that drives the film.

So, umm, based on these results... Can you please make more fairy tales now?!?!

Rapunzel deserves a more respectful title and that's why the Brothers Grimm called it by it's rightful name. Sometimes it only takes a single bone head at Disney to mar an, otherwise, great movie. But you and I won't let 'em get by with it!

Tangled will finish 3rd worldwide for 2010 animation, behind TS3 ($1.1 billion) and Shrek 4 ($750 million).

The two disc combo set has been in the Top 10 of Amazon DVD sales for the past month, along with the single disc DVD. That's significant. Tangled is holding its own against Deathly Hallows for video pre-orders, which is a solid indicator of how well the DVDs will sell once they're released on March 29. The merchandise and video aftermarket is just as important, if not more so, than any film's theatrical run and subsequent box office percentage. That's what truly fuels a franchise.
