Treachery and misfortune certainly describe him (I'm a naughty girl). But she feels responsible for him and guilty because even though he was the one who wanted the divorce, he's changed her mind and she hasn't. That could definitely explain wrapping him up/wanting to care for him. I think the confronting of emotions, peace of mind etc also all fit well with her right now! I'll tell her to dream in cockerels next time, lol. Oh also I called her and the cat was grey. She says your insights sound spot-on!
