To see a clown in you dream, symbolizes absurdity, light-heartedness, and a childish side to your own character. The countenance of the clown is a reflection of your own feelings and emotions. Whether it is a happy clown or a sad clown, that will help guide you through how you may be feeling. The actions of the clown signifies your uninhibited nature. Alternatively, it is an indication of your thoughtless actions.

If you have a fear or phobia of clowns, the clown may represent somebody pretending to be somebody they are not and are hiding under a facade.

    Fence -

To see a fence in your dream, signifies an obstacle or barrier that may be standing on your path. You may feel confined and restricted in expressing yourself. Are you feeling fenced in? Alternatively, it may symbolize a need for privacy. You may want to shut off the rest of the world.

OMG! Me too! And it's always just a drive from my house, about a 2-hour drive, not a flight. I also have dreams of "real" Disneyland - as in one that actually looks like the real thing - and I realise I've left my camera, wallet etc all at home.

Lately (the last couple of weeks) I've dreamt that I've been running away and hiding from someone. Occasionally I've done something wrong and I'm running because of that, other times I'm just running because I'm scared.

To dream that you are hiding, suggests that you are keeping some secret or withholding some information. You may not be facing up to a situation or not want to deal with an issue. However, you may be getting ready to reveal and confess before somebody finds out.

"In my dream, I had a pet cat. I'm not really a cat fan, but whatever. Anyway, I knew a dead woman, and she had married into royalty, but for whatever reason, wasn't considered royal. I was walking by the water & saw her - she was fishing, next to a living Cockatoo. She looked really peaceful, and told me she wasn't allowed to be buried with the rest of the Royal family, but that she could choose where she wanted to be buried. She chose to be buried by the water, so that she could fish and relax. She liked being around water (funny, I said that when I walked around the lake yesterday).

I talked to her, and she told me to take the Cockatoo home. She told me the Cockatoo would prefer to be with the living me, than the dead woman. I did, but my cat went crazy. The cat started speaking to me and said I shouldn't bring a big bright colourful bird into our home. I wrapped the cat in a blanket and hugged it like it was a baby. I tried to settle the cat down, but it kept staring at the Cockatoo. By the time I'd woken, the cat and cockatoo had settled around each other, but the cat was acting more like a baby than a cat."

LOL! Yeah, I've got my magical crystal dream ball out for a bit more. ;-)

    Okay, here we go...

<---waves commanding, hairy hands over magical crystal ball

    -----------

    (whoa, symbols symbols everywhere! lol)

    Cat -

To see a cat in your dream, signifies much misfortune, treachery, and bad luck. However, for the cat lover, cats signifies an independent spirit, feminine sexuality, creativity, and power. If the cat is aggressive, then it suggests that you are having problems with the feminine aspect of yourself. If you see a cat with no tail, then it signifies a lost of independence and lack of autonomy.

(more details if the color was known)

    Water -

To see water in your dream, symbolizes your unconscious and your emotional state of mind. Water is the living essence of the psyche and the flow of life energy. It is also symbolic of spirituality, knowledge, healing and refreshment.

To see calm, clear water in your dream, signifies that you are in tune with your spirituality. It denotes serenity, peace of mind, and rejuvenation.

    Fishpond -

To see a fishpond in your dream, represents unconscious material that is slowly revealing itself. Alternatively, it symbolizes feelings that you need to contain and keep in check.

    Fishing Rod -

To see a fishing rod in your dream, represents your quest and exploration of your unconscious mind. You are ready to confront issues and emotions which you have suppressed.

    Fishing -

To dream that you are fishing, indicates that you are confronting and bringing your repressed emotions to the surface.

    Peace -

To dream of peace and tranquility, indicates an end or a resolution to an emotional issue or inner conflict. It may signal and end of a cycle and the pause before the beginning of a new endeavor. It also suggest that you have reached a new level of stability and calmness. Alternatively, the maddening quietness may refer to the calm before the storm.

Warning - (what the crystal ball sees as the cat's words)

To receive a warning in your dream, indicates that something in your waking life is in need of your attention. The dream may serve to give you a second thought of your actions and to rethink the consequences.

    Blanket -

To see a blanket in your dream, symbolizes warmth, love, security and protection. You may be seeking for some form of shelter from the outside world. Consider also how your dream may be calling attention to a "cover-up" in some situation or circumstance in your waking life.

To dream that you are wrapped in a blanket, indicates your fear of the unknown. You may feel some sort of threat/chaos or sense some coldness from those around you.

To dream that you are covering or wrapping someone in a blanket, suggests you desire to care for that person.

    --------

I'm sorry I cannot interpret the meaning of the cockatoo for your sister, but coincidentally my crystal dream ball can tell me of the meanings of nearly 50 birds---but not one of them is the cockatoo. (couldn't it have been a cockerel? So close! LOL)

Personally I think she is under the influence of Lewis Carroll. Has she read "Alice in Wonderland" and "Through the Looking Glass" lately? Certainly seems bizarre enough! ;-)

Treachery and misfortune certainly describe him (I'm a naughty girl). But she feels responsible for him and guilty because even though he was the one who wanted the divorce, he's changed her mind and she hasn't. That could definitely explain wrapping him up/wanting to care for him. I think the confronting of emotions, peace of mind etc also all fit well with her right now!

I'll tell her to dream in cockerels next time, lol. Oh also I called her and the cat was grey. She says your insights sound spot-on!

About the cat...I need white or black, and you give me grey. LOL! Anyway, here's what my magical friend tells me:

"To see a white cat in your dream, denotes that you are going through difficult times. If you see a black cat in your dream, then it indicates that you are experiencing some fear in using your psychic abilities and believing in your intuition. You may erroneously associate the black cat with evil, destruction, and bad luck."

Sounds like it's a mix of both in her case! lol
