All I was there for was to visit the lobby and the grounds, to check it out. I wasn't there for the ice show. I elected to come back a different time.

Give me a break.

What an absolutely awful idea. Even if Marriott can at least give you quality towels, soaps and toilet paper at its lowest properties.

Nice pools and spas ... a wonderfully themed (Fla) large open courtyard ... quality service. That's probably why ... and it's closer to some Disney parks than some Disney resorts are.

Well, you have got to understand that most of the hispanic staff working in Housekeeping DO HAVE college degrees and could be working on some more professional careers but some of those people, who migrated here when Disney's Casting went on a hiring rampage in Puerto Rico and Brazil, have not been fortunate enough to find real jobs in their chosen fields.. Now, they are finding out that Disney is not the wonderful stepping stone they thought could improve their lives.

These people are way over qualified for these jobs (not all) and they really don't have their heart in cleaning up after a bunch of slob tourists. I know I would scrounge through dumpsters before I would subject myself to doing that. These people do have a good work ethic or they would not be showing up for work on a daily basis. What they lack is motivation or hope for anything better.

Very few can afford to do work just because they love it.
