We parked by Dillards because there was lots of spots close by the door and then had a short was to JCPennys. Boy what a zoo. My daughter (who is only 7) had never been out shopping and didn't have a good time there. People were crazy yelling and then the computers went down so they could not ring anyone up for a long time and the lines were already outrageous. Needless to say after wondering around for about 45 minutes looking for my item, I finally found an employee who told me that what I was looking for was at their home furnishing store about 5 miles away. We quickly got out of there, went to the store but they were sold out of the set I wanted for my mother but they had a different one that was much better quality for virtually the same price! We then stopped at Burger King for breakfast for the kid and a Diet Coke for me We then went to Target where I got clothes for MIL and kids. I got their sweaters for Christmas Pics for 5 bucks. Next it was off to Big5 where they had a really nice watch for 1/4 the normal price for hubby's birthday which is next week. Then to Costco for some basic essentials (laundry soap, chicken and paperplates) and then finally home. Later in the afternoon, hubby (who was decorating the winter wonderland we call home) decided he needed some more decorating items from Walmart. Of course he wasn't going so he sent me and oldest son. Luckily it was late enough in the day that it was actually calmer than a normal Saturday. I went to bed early that night but had a great time with my kids!
