    actually if your bar-b-q-ing use some wailers(sp?) salt, it will bring the flavor out of the steak but not soak into it. So the steak wont be salty but the flavor will be sooooo good.

    I prefer to scar my friends and family with my propensity for seasonings like curry,garlic, wasabi and hot sauce of various flavors and hotness. Whether they have their own dangerous amounts of saltiness I dunno..

    so yeah: sodium bad (but so is doing a lot of stuff)
