Sorcerer Hat to be Gone by End of 2013?

    That was an internet urban legend. The reason the hat was placed where it was was due to the merchandising department of WDW, I've been told. They took over the project and wanted it in a place of prominence.

    Given that we got the wand on SSE in 1999 for the Millenium Celebration and it was removed in 2007, it seems like we're roughly in the right timeline to have the hat taken down (I believe the maintenance and construction costs for both were originally based on a 10 year timeframe)

    Aaah... OK. I knew it was one of those events. They all seem the same to me.

    That would be a good location. I thought about putting it behind the 2stores at the entrance to the world showcase but it would block the view of the pavilions on the other side. I don't want to see it destroyed. Just moved. I like theBAH just not in front of the theater
