On the boards I try to treat him like everyone else. He gets away with some stuff but so does everyone else. He's also been asked to stop posting for a period of time and then let back, just like some others have. Doobie.

We also miss things. And there are some people who feel that using "Report to Mod" is a bad thing. So if we miss something and no one reports it, then it'll stay. But even if we do see it, other than profanity, I don't think there's anything that's an automatic Admin. We try to strike a balance taking the rest of the post, the rest of the thread and other things into account. I know that means enforcement seems less than consistent. But I think, in the end, that's better than the alternative of never letting emotions overflow. But again, it's a balance and I know not everyone agrees with where we draw the line all the time. Consistency is of utmost importance on that issue, imho, and I don7t see that here. If there were some consistency, Jon would've been gone long ago, and you wouldn't have MANY longtime posters chiming in here "why now?". And Doobie, I've seen every post. I KNOW there was nothing new or different. The only possible "x" factor seems to be your strange opposition to Jon sending you many late night emails (how THAT factors in, I have no idea...you actually made no sense by saying as much since he'd "already" been banned, right?) If you felt opposed to Jon, you could've dealt with it a LONG time ago. Thus, many people feel baffled.

Two, I could keep visiting with a little bad taste in my mouth...but that too will pass. I'm trying to focus on number two.....but number one is always an option.
