I don't question Doobie or the mods. If anything, Doobie was as open as he could be without disrespecting jonvn's confidentiality. It was more of the timing that shocked us. Jon had been making a strong effort to comply to community standards and we were just a little shocked when it happened. My posts, in this thread, have been my way of saying that I miss Jon...not questioning Doobie's decision.

In his defense, he admitted several times that he knew how abrasive he was and that he was working on it. Maybe he's mellowed enough over the past couple years to warrant another look. agree with Dan's post to a tee --

Let's not forget he was banned once before the time people seem to be discussing here, and then let back in if he behaved. Ultimately, he couldn't do it. His habit of seriously questioning a person's mental health if they disagreed with him is what made him stand out for me. If you didn't cave in to him, he'd repeatedly say a person really needed mental help, they obviously had anger issues, etc. This would be in WE or WDW General, or anywhere else, it didn't matter. After a while, it was plain he was talking about himself. For me, move on. He's had enough chances. No more.

All of us understand why jon was banned but he gave a certain something to these boards too. Jon could be a completely different person outside of WE and, if his WE personality is all someone saw, they missed a lot.
