I think the people who run this site are doing a great job overall. Not that I have an obvious bias, or anything ;-) They usually allow a wide variety of opinions in WE. I'm very happy to have the discussion boards in general, and the whole site. There is a lot of work that goes into all of it, and it is difficult to keep it fresh, interesting, and "family-friendly". I'm glad they do. SFH

I didn't fit in to any of the groups because I was not able to attend the meets. Ask yourselves what happened to Lucy, the Witches, TDLfan. These people were the movers and shakers for this site. For the most part, they are now gone. How much did Jon contribute to that, I don't know, probably not a lot. I have had a few run-ins with them myself, but, I don't remember them being mean spirited and obnoxiously all knowing as some of the resent stuff has been. Unfortunately, the hostility left it's safe confines within WE and contaminated the rest of Laughing Place. Only time will tell if Doobie called it right or not, but, it is his call and I support it. There always is another side to the story, always!

The European websites are very stepford. The other US focus on on resort, or have loads of kids. LP offers characters and maturity.
