How he chose to engage in discussion was what I've always found most unpleasant. Sorry, jon, but I won't miss you at all. I do sincerely wish you and your family well, though.

I won't say goodbye to jonvn as I am hoping he returns.

But anyone that's been around LP for a while knows these decisions aren't made quickly, lightly or flippantly and, in fact, bans are very rare. I know not everyone will agree with the decisions we make, but we don't make them without lots of consideration. And I'm sorry to those on both sides that don't agree with the decisions. But nothing will ever make everyone happy. So we just have to do what we think is the best. Doobie.

Doobie.<<< Was there private discussions with him behind the scenes where it was asked of him that he tone down his posts, and seeing no compliance, the ban was implemented? Or was he allowed to go full steam ahead with no warning and then all of a sudden enough was enough?
