It just doesn't get any easier than that. Look at SWW. They pack them in after all these years. That's what the Studios should be concentrating on. I'll leave it up to the imagineers to handle the themeing, and storyline.

For one you can't just slap an endeavor together like this concept just so you can open before your competition. While the tax base is fantastic, and cost of living, and production cost are way down compared to the West coast, the weather is not. You do not have the talent that is deeply seated in California either. The industry moved out of New York to California for a reason. Florida could never pull the quality people in that it needs to run a active studio. You are competing against a powerhouse that has been established for almost a century. In reality you can't have shoots taking place with tourist trampimg around plus all the noise that is associated with a theme park. There are people here at LP that can give you a more comprehensive answer. I just touched on a few problems.

And while talent is eager to move to NYC or LA, getting them to live in O-Town, which was very much a backwater in the late 80s/early 90s was another matter. Still, it could have worked. An industry could have grown. But neither Disney nor UNI were truly committed and the results followed. They wanted theme parks about the entertainment industry rather than studios where the product was created. Shame. And, I believe, a missed opportunity for FLA.

I plan on setting high standards in what should be released from The Spirits vault of Golden Classic Memories on The Laughing Place.

They let the "studio" aspect of the park die in the same way that they killed EPCOT Center, and killed PI. There was an easier way to do it...and just as it happens, the easy way usually sucks.
