It was the only way to stop from having a stiff neck or headache the rest of the day. I know I should probably just stop riding it but I should probably lose 50 pounds too. Fat chance.

I just can't understand why people thought it was rough. Head to Cedar Point and ride the Mean Streak. You'll find the definition of a "rough" coaster!) Personally, I like knowing that SM will get some TLC but basically be the same great ride. I like this way better than most of the Fantasyland announcement. Believe it or not, I'm not necessarily dissing the "meet & greets" completely, just that they're too many and being TOO princess oriented with it. They need something for the boys, too. Plus, I would have loved to see at least ONE other "C" Ticket dark ride added along with the "E" Ticket Mermaid.

Of course my neck bothers me year round not just on roller coasters. There is one moment on SM where the stars are just right and you do seem to be flying through space and that small part of the ride is what makes it worth it for me.

I'm just glad that Disney is fixing up this classic ride for future generations.
